Airfryer Roast Beef Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 to 3 lb beef roast (like sirloin or ribeye)
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried rosemary or thyme (optional)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the beef:
- Pat the beef roast dry with paper towels.
- Rub olive oil all over the roast.
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary (if using), and paprika in a small bowl.
- Rub the seasoning mix evenly all over the roast.
- Preheat the air fryer:
- Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for about 5 minutes.
- Cook the roast:
- Place the beef roast in the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 400°F for about 15 minutes to get a nice sear.
- Reduce temperature to 360°F (180°C) and cook for another 25-30 minutes for medium-rare (internal temp about 130-135°F).
- Adjust the time depending on the size of the roast and desired doneness (use a meat thermometer for best results).
- Rest the meat:
- Remove the roast from the air fryer and cover it loosely with foil.
- Let it rest for 10-15 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
- Slice and serve:
- Slice against the grain and enjoy your juicy, tender roast beef!
