🍄 Air Fryer Garlic Butter Roasted Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) whole mushrooms (white or cremini), cleaned and patted dry
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (adds umami and a beautiful glaze)
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Optional: ½ tsp balsamic vinegar or lemon juice for brightness

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer
    • Set your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) and let it preheat for about 3 minutes.
  2. Make the Garlic Butter Mixture
    • In a bowl, combine the melted butter, olive oil, garlic, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and herbs (if using).
  3. Coat the Mushrooms
    • Add the mushrooms to the bowl and toss well to coat evenly with the garlic butter mixture.
  4. Air Fry
    • Transfer the mushrooms into the air fryer basket in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
    • Cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
    • The mushrooms should be browned, slightly crispy on the outside, and tender inside.
  5. Finish and Serve
    • Once done, drizzle any remaining sauce from the bowl over the mushrooms.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and an optional splash of balsamic vinegar or lemon juice for extra flavor.

  • Serve as a side dish with steak, chicken, or fish.
  • Toss into pasta or risotto for extra richness.
