Air Fryer Banana Chips Recipe

Air Fryer Banana Chips Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2–3 ripe (but firm) bananas
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil or melted coconut oil
  • 1–2 tsp cinnamon
  • Optional: 1 tsp sugar or brown sugar (if you like it sweeter)
  • A pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Slice the Bananas: Cut bananas into thin, even slices (about 1/8 inch thick).
  2. Coat the Slices: In a bowl, gently toss banana slices with oil, cinnamon, and sugar (if using).
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer: Set it to 350°F (175°C) and preheat for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Air Fry: Lay the slices in a single layer in the basket (you might need to do multiple batches). Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they’re golden and crisp.
  5. Cool: Let them cool on a wire rack—they will crisp up more as they cool.

📝 Tips:

  • Use firmer ripe bananas so they hold their shape.
  • Watch closely towards the end—banana chips can go from golden to burnt quickly!
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2–3 days (if they last that long!).
