Crispy Air Fryer Cauliflower Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower (cut into bite-sized florets)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free alternative)
  • 1/2 cup water (or plant milk)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast for extra flavor
  • Olive oil spray

For the sauce (optional):

  • Your favorite dipping sauce (ranch, chipotle mayo, buffalo, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. Prep Cauliflower:
    • Wash and cut cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  2. Make Batter:
    • In a bowl, mix flour, water (or milk), garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper into a smooth batter.
  3. Coat:
    • Toss cauliflower florets in the batter until well coated.
  4. Air Fry:
    • Preheat air fryer to 380°F (195°C).
    • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil.
    • Place the coated florets in a single layer (cook in batches if needed).
    • Air fry for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  5. Serve:
    • Garnish with chopped parsley or chives and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
