Easy Air Fryer Shrimp (No Breading)

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (or regular paprika)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Optional: pinch of chili flakes for heat

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the shrimp:
    In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and chili flakes (if using). Pour over the raw shrimp and toss until all shrimp are well coated.
  2. Preheat the air fryer:
    Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for 3 minutes.
  3. Cook the shrimp:
    Place the marinated shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding for even cooking.
  4. Air fry:
    Cook for 6-8 minutes, shaking or flipping the shrimp halfway through. Cook until shrimp are pink and slightly charred at the edges.
  5. Serve:
    Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, over rice, salad, or as a snack.

Tip: For extra flavor, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp before serving!
