Airfryer Roast Beef Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 to 3 lb beef roast (like sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1-2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary or thyme (optional)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the beef:
    • Pat the beef roast dry with paper towels.
    • Rub olive oil all over the roast.
    • Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary (if using), and paprika in a small bowl.
    • Rub the seasoning mix evenly all over the roast.
  2. Preheat the air fryer:
    • Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Cook the roast:
    • Place the beef roast in the air fryer basket.
    • Cook at 400°F for about 15 minutes to get a nice sear.
    • Reduce temperature to 360°F (180°C) and cook for another 25-30 minutes for medium-rare (internal temp about 130-135°F).
    • Adjust the time depending on the size of the roast and desired doneness (use a meat thermometer for best results).
  4. Rest the meat:
    • Remove the roast from the air fryer and cover it loosely with foil.
    • Let it rest for 10-15 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
  5. Slice and serve:
    • Slice against the grain and enjoy your juicy, tender roast beef!
